Description

The pendant is supposed to be a brooch as well but the pin is missing. There is also one rhinestone missing which can easily be fixed. Extremely rare and highly collectible. Beautiful vintage signed Monet brooch / pendant, featuring frosted glass with clear and amber rhinestones in a silver tone setting. This piece is from the 1980's, which is when Monet was making jewelry for Yves St Laurent. The brooch is 3 5/8" x 2 ¼" Backside of the brooch, has three rings through which you can insert the included YSL Monet necklace. This particular brooch or pendant is featured in the book "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202" by Julia C. Carroll - it is shown on page 421.
