The previous owner originally owned a genuine Mustang Saleen that he wrecked. After the accident, he kept the usable Saleen drivetrain, engine, body, interior and other components. He then purchased a 2001 Mustang GT shell and transferred the surviving Saleen parts over to this car. The Saleen engine was rebuilt during the process and has approximately 20–30k miles on the rebuild. To be completely transparent: the current chassis/VIN is a 2001 Mustang GT, so I am NOT claiming or selling it as an original Saleen.
