solid 18k gold, they sell new for $10,000. gold plated new are $1,800 i bought an estate sale which included this pair. i know gold and this is solid 14Kt Gold and yes ull prob want to put new lenses in them but theyre wearable and scratches are faint and not in direct vision. They are awesome and have a few small scratches on the lenses, (glass part), frames look new, I'm not sure of the cost to replace the lenses. I'm open to meeting at a well known jeweler at a public business to have it looked at, verify that it's solid or plated18kt gold. near Center Point area. most estimates think its 18kt gold PLATED, made in France.
