Fantastic set of Paiste Formula 602 Modern Essentials cymbals, developed by Paiste in collaboration with master drummer Vinnie Colaiuta. I've been a long time fan of Paiste cymbals. To me, they offer the superlative rock cymbal sound: bright and clear with a crystalline quality, but without the aggressive or cloying overtones present in many of their counterparts from other brands. The formula 602 modern essentials line absolutely nails this. Sensitive and expressive yet full and beefy, with a super balanced sound profile. Vinnie is known for his stylistic versatility and clearly had many applications in mind when working on these cymbals as well. They respond well to different sticks and styles of playing, and with the right approach could fit right in in a funk, metal, jazz, blues, r&b, or just about any other setting. This set includes the following: 22" ride 20" crash (definitely rideable) 18" crash (one of my favorite 18s I've ever played) 16" crash 14" hi hats Everything is in excellent condition with no damage to speak of, only light cosmetic wear. I have never cleaned or modified these cymbals in any way. I'm only selling because, for my purposes, I'm more regularly drawn to my classic 602s.
