DOD has one of those names that people don’t think much of… but that made one piece of gear in the 80’s thats a hidden Gem! The single 31Band Mono 2u rack space is it! For it S/N ratio thats insane, the noise floor is dropped this beast is so quiet and these being such unique pieces of gear there’s quite a few companies that modify them in this one is done by a German company that allowed each frequency to actually phase into the next frequency next to it… impossible not in the exact frequency that you were hearing that you want to either accentuate or delete. With a sturdy metal chassis, super low Noise floor (the ratio is amazing) . One of the best units for side-chain mixing, mastering, mono reference checks, to punch up drums to any instrument to side chain over an entire mix! Great live applications as well.
