Anova Precision Oven v1

First edition Anova precision oven. Originally retailed for $600-700. Wifi enabled and remote control via app, along with touchscreen manual control. Had for a little under 2 years. Only getting rid of it as I upgraded my main kitchen range and no longer need it. Let me tell you, this thing is a BEAST. It can air fry, toast, bake, broil, proof, you name it. Anything from a bagel to a whole chicken plus sides (yes, really) can fit in here. The app lets you customize combinations of heating elements, fan speed, timers, temp probe, and more. But it can be used pretty easily manually as well. It gets up to temp fast and holds it very well, with minimal heat leakage. Uncomplicated to clean, same as you would other convection ovens. Outside has mild cosmetic wear, mostly on bottom, but otherwise in good condition. Same story on the inside, what you’d expect after over a year of frequent use. Probe port cover broke off, but hasn’t proven to be an issue, mainly cosmetic. Cleaned to the best of my ability, but may have some stubborn polymerized oil spots in hard to reach areas and behind the fan screen. Again, however, this is the case with any oven after this long. Included: - Baking tray - 2 racks - water runoff collection tray - temperature probe - water tank (READ BELOW) NOTE: the water tank can be included, but it has heat stress cracks that leak. This is a known design flaw on Anova’s part. Unfortunately, the part has been discontinued, so I couldn’t get a replacement under warranty. The sous vide & steam functions are unavailable without it. I attempted to repair the tank with food-safe silicone sealant, but it didn’t really work. I’ll include the tank if you want to try and fix it. If you’re handy, the oven can probably be hooked up to an external tank with silicone tubing. A tray of water in the lower rack will also serve as somewhat of a replacement for steaming.
