Antique 19th Century c.1830s Pine Side Table / Lamp Stand / Entryway Table

Early American 1 drawer stand, c. 1830. Made of pine, with hand-turned legs, mushroom knob, and a patina from over 150 years of use. Could be an entryway table, side table, or bar. Its compact size makes it a versatile piece. This kind of table was a staple in house holds in the 19th c. The size of the top is larger than a candle stand. This was more like a vanity where a wash basin and pitcher once stood in a bedroom or small kitchen. The top was large enough for sewing and these were used as work tables. Today it would be a lamp table or bedside table.
