For sale is a Giant Escape Hybrid/Commuter bicycle. Asking $50 and can negotiate to some extent. Bike is in mostly excellent running order. What that means is the front and rear gears all shif fine. The front brake works and stops the bike fine. The rear brake will do the same however... New pads are needed for rear brake and the back wheel needs a little bit of truing. And I mean only a little. The wheels are 700c disc specific. That's how it came to me from the thrift store. Hence why I had been sanding off the powder coating from the rim sidewalk where the brake pads grab. Otherwise they will forever squeal like a pig. Reason I'm selling is I bought another bike. This one is an Xtra large frame. I'm 5ft 8 and can barely keep both feet on the ground when I'm off the saddle and straddling the cross bar. Other than that it's a great solid bike I wish I could keep. But I'm not 6ft tall. I'd say anyone.seriously interested should be 5ft 10 minimum. But anyhow yeah, Bongrager double wall disc rims if you want to upgrade later all you need is a disc.fork rear disc adapter for the frame and calipers/rotors. The drivetrain is Sram MicroShift which is like Sram's answer to rapid fire shifting. And it warms well and is pretty precise. Need gone ASAP because I need the lock I'm using on it at the moment for my current bike I just purchased this past week.
