Description

1962 Chevrolet Corvette Color: Honduras Maroon (Red), possibly original paint Engine: 350 cubic inch small block chevy V8 installed in 1984 we have the 327 that was replaced on a crate (possibly numbers matching). Transmission: 4 speed manual Up for sale is my 1962 Corvette. This car has been in the family since 1984. In 1984 the previous owner replaced the 327 cubic engine with a 350 right before we bought the car. We have the 327 that was replaced on a crate and it comes with the car in case you want to put it back in. This corvette comes with a black soft top and a color matching honduras maroon (red) hard top. I mention that the paint is possibly original because our family has not repainted the car and we are unsure if the previous owner did but the hard top and body match hue so it very well could be original paint. The car, hard top, and crated engine have been stored in a garage their whole life. No frame rust. The carburetor was just rebuilt by AZ Lucky Star automotive and the car was previously maintained by AZ Corvettes. She runs and drives great but has a tendency to run hot and might need different tuning for the summer heat (I mostly drive the car in winter) even though we installed a new radiator. We have documentation of all the work the previous owner had done in 1984. My primary reason for selling the Corvette is because I am a renter and it is challenging to find a reasonably priced rental home with a garage. The secondary reason is I am 6'4" tall and don't really fit comfortably in the car.  As you can see in the pictures, the Corvette is not in completely restored, showroom condition but I would say it is in good to very good condition according to this guide: https://offerup.co/faYXKzQFnY?$deeplink_path=/redirect/. The paint has some light scratches and wear marks here and there, the hood paint has bubbles in a couple of places, the Wonderbar radio is in great physical condition but might need some TLC, the running/brake lights likely have a loose connection somewhere as they work most of the time, the fuel gauge doesn't work, and the odometer stopped working at 50,000 miles. We estimate the car has about 55,000 - 60,000 miles on it and the installed 350 engine has less than 10,000 miles on it.  Serious inquiries only. Lowball offers will be ignored. I can send high resolution pictures upon request.  $65,000 obo
