If you are not familiar with the sizing, i suggest going to Dick’s, REI, or Patagonia to try on the jacket to get a sense on sizing. That way you can get your child’s feedback on the fit and comfort. Also great sizing for petite women . This can be very comfortable fit for someone that is 5’3 about 105lbs. There was still room in the body to layer. Arm sleeves were a perfect length.
