It Sounds SOOO Good with Music!!! Don't need big speakers to really get the Concert, or TRUE Movie Theater Experience Anymore, with the Invention of Powered SUBWOOFERS. This is a very solid surround sound system. Denon is my favorite Japanese receiver. The sound is so warm and clear. Great for Stereo Music Listening, or Surround Sound. You also have all of the DSP. Made in Japan, Canada and Rears MIC. No Remote, but those are easy to find, $7.88 on Amazon. I have good quality speaker wire, on the shorter side for the Left, Center and Right. But you'll need a Sub Cable and Speaker Wire for your Rear Speakers. Depending on your SetUp, what SOURCES You Have, you may Need Audio cables to go from your TV, Cable/Sat, DVD/Blu-ray, CD/Cassette etc. The Denon AVR-1705 features Digital Signal Processing (DSP) settings that include several built-in surround sound modes like Dolby Digital EX and DTS-ES, allowing for high-quality audio reproduction.
