Description
Its not Danelectro its not a Silvertone- its a modern, upgraded hi tech version of those good old 50s and 60s guitars. Designed by JT Riboloff (who worked at the R&D department of Gibson), this is one of around 500 Telestar Lisa models to ever be produced. Made in Korea by the Samick factory in 1999, the Telestar features a laminate body with a composite top/back bolted to a maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (24.75" scale) that plays as well as any modern guitar with a flat radius and jumbo frets. Modern bridge and sealed gear tuners keep it in tune exceedingly well (Surprisingly so!) And the mini bucker pickups are unique, powerful and hot enough to cut thru any mix. Of the 500 ish guitars built, even fewer were released with the cream and gold sparkle finish. All the cool funky vibe of a classic vintage guitar, with none of the hassle and issues those olf guitars had. Collectible. Rare. And stylish. A future vintage guitar guitar for sure. Prices are firm and fair. I dont randomly throw numbers around. I do my research, i play every guitar to insure its quality. I then price accordingly and default to at or near the lowest used retail price. Thanks for looking!!
