1984 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo Diesel

This car is a head turner still. I'm not sure the exact reason for the salvage title, but it appears the engine was replaced. The odometer had stopped working when i bought it. I've owned it for 5 years, but only put probably at most 30 - 40,000 more on. It has i believe 16" speedline wheels with matching full size spare, and I think 1 or 2 spare spares also. (Rims, not tires) The rear wheels are spaced out about two inches, which completes the look in my opinion! The front calipers and rotors have been upgraded from a MB 450sel. Bilstein shocks front and back. Replaced front ball joints and tie rods. Has upgraded fuel filter with water separator custom fitted. Was originally blue, but previous owner painted black. The paint now has a matte patina that almost looks like a wrap. Some paint is chipping off here and there. Some rust spots under the rear side chrome trimming. The turn signals are clear plastic, but I'm pretty sure i still have the yellow originals. It does have an oil leak, but it's had it since i bought it. And it's i believe an upper head gasket seal. But no water in the oil or anything major. It just leaks some oil. This thing runs great and requires no smog checks! (How bout that?!) I just washed it for these pics so come take a look before it gets all dirty again! It mostly just sits now, since I've been driving my van. I also have a transmission filter and gasket, a new air filter bracket and probably some other random parts.
