New/sealed Nuvo NV-2IW6 Series Two In-wall speakers. 2-Way Driver Design: The Legrand Nuvo Series Two NV-4IW6 in-wall loudspeaker utilizes a two-way driver design, featuring a 0.5" silk soft-dome tweeter that pivots and one 6.5" poly cone woofer with a butyl rubber surround. The pivoting tweeter is mounted to a unique bridge and allows you to aim the tweeter at your targeted listening area. Applications: The Legrand Nuvo Series Two NV-4IW6 can be used as a front or rear channel speaker in a home theater application. It can also be used in a 2ch stereo application or part of a distributed audio system. Magnetic Grille: The Nuvo NV-4IW6 comes with a low-profile, rimless grille that attaches magnetically to the front-baffle of the in-wall speaker. The grille features a white finish, but can be painted to match your wall. The low-profile, magnetic grille only protrudes 0.1875" from the wall. Spring-Clip Terminals: The Nuvo NV-4IW6 in-wall loudspeaker is outfitted with a set of spring-clip terminals to attach bare speaker wire (up to 12AWG) or pin-connectors. Mounting Options: The Series Two NV-4IW6 requires a rectangular cutout in the wall that measures 7.625" (w) x 10.75" (h) x 3.3125" (d). Six swivel "dog-leg" clamps with integrated mounting screws secure the speaker in the wall. There needs to be at least 0.75" of clearance around the inside of the cutout to accommodate the swivel "dog-leg" clamps. The "dog-leg" clamps will accommodate up to 1.5" drywall thickness.
