Overview: Up for sale is an absolutely amazing abstract oil painting on stretched canvas by listed Filipino artist, Edgardo "Eddie" Sarmiento (1940-). Sarmiento is well-known for his landscape paintings of the Phillipines and figurative Filipino works. This is pure abstract piece. Very interesting dashes of white and orange that give this piece some real depth. Signed and dated 1972 at lower right. It is framed in an extremely cool midcentury shadowbox style frame. Condition: Painting and frame are in excellent condition. Measurements: Painting measures approximately 12 inches wide x 9 inches high. Frame measures approximately 18.5 inches wide x 15.75 inches high.
