This lovely winter scene was my maternal grandmother’s favorite. My mother finally had it framed for her in the ‘80s. The painting itself is vintage and was around for a while before the framing. During that time it got a tear along the top can be seen in the photos. The tear is about 1 1⁄4 inches long. As you can see the painting was framed with this tear in it. My mother nor my grandmother cared much about the tear as they loved the painting so much. This painting was hanging in my mother’s house until she passed in 2014. I am also fond of the painting but must downsize. The frame is painted silver. I conjecture that the frame is wood but I am not certain if it is. Someone has to really love this painting to overlook the tear. I am uncertain if it could be repaired or not. Approximate Frame Dimensions: 25 inches x 21 inches x 2 inches wide
