Description
This is a Eurographics puzzle titled The Greatest Bookstore In The World, featuring artwork by Garry Walton. The scene in the picture is the front of a bookstore, which is actually called "The Greatest Ever Book Shop In The World" on the sign out front. Beneath that sign there are flags from different countries hanging across the top of the windows, and through those windows you can see lots and lots of books, many with the covers and titles visible (lots of detail in this one). The front door is open, and on the sidewalk next to it is a bicycle that's been left propped against the wall. Also on the sidewalk is a sandwich board type sign with a quote from W. Somerset Maugham, and scrawled on the sidewalk itself in chalk are the words "A book is a dream that you hold in your heart". There are lots of flowers all around, including in a basket on the bicycle. There's a lot going on here, and all of it quite charming. Puzzle has 1000 pieces and measures 19-1/4" X 26-5/8” when assembled. Pieces are in excellent condition, nice and glossy and very clean edges, and they have a real quality feel. Box is in good, sturdy condition and looks nice. This is a previously assembled puzzle. I am selling a number of puzzles that come primarily from my family's two vacation homes, where they have been well taken care of and are normally marked regarding any missing pieces. This puzzle has been designated as being complete. I did partially work it along with my daughter but I wasn't there when it was finished, so I don't have a photo of it completed. I have her assurance that there were none missing, so all pieces should be present. I will accept a return if there is a problem, but I don't believe that will happen.
