Country Doll Couple Dish Soap Bottle Doll Straw Hat Pipe Overalls Handmade Vtg These are two handmade dish soap bottle dolls.  The man has a traditional rubber face,  straw hat,white hair, beard, glasses & pipe.  He is wearing blue and white stripe overalls with a gold watch chain hanging from his front bib pocket, traditional red and white check  shirt, black plastic boots and rubber hands.  The woman has a matching red and white dress, kerchief, glasses and lace apron.  When I first saw them my first thought was who does this look like?  Several characters came to mind but couldn’t quite put my finger on it.   They both have some light staining on their clothing.   Might be cleanable but I didn’t try.   Overall, a very nice one-of-a-kind doll couple that makes a nice  addition to any doll collection.
