Description
Greetings, I am selling my 1983 Hake Yachts Seaward Slipper 17’ and her 1995 galvanized trailer. She’s in good shape and I hate to see her go, but I bought another boat and simply don’t have room for both. She has an 8’ beam and very comfortable for 5 adults, or more, but then it gets a little tight, or someone might be sitting on the deck. She has a shoal draft concrete keel with an aluminum swing daggerboard. She only draws 18”with e daggerboard up, so it’s easy to anchor at the sandbar or near shore. I’m not sure exactly what this boat is worth. Most of these I’ve seen for sale in-line are going going for $2000-$5500. I’m listing this for $2200obo. Clean title in my name for both boat and trailer. New topside paint- 1 year old New tiller handle and bright work (could use some refinishing)- 3 years old 2 new layers of fiberglass in cockpit (floor and bench seats)- 2 years ago New motor mount New bilge pump- 1 year old Nav lights work perfectly Halyards- 3 years old New shrouds and forestay- these were over $200- made by FL Hydraulics and Rigging- 3 years ago Intermediate shrouds are in decent shape- the cables have 1 or 2 broken strands Battery box with phone/ accessory charging ports and charge meter Sails are in good shape- comes with main and jib Brand new cushion covers No soft spots 1250lb displacement 425lb concrete ballast Trailer: Has a longer (10’) heavy duty tongue Lights work New axel New springs Newer bearings 1 steel wheel (harbor freight) so that rim is pretty rusty, but still serviceable 2” hitch Tongue jack with wheel Cable winch New bunks and carpet- 1 year old I have an older 7.5 Gamefisher motor, spinnaker sail, and Bimini top available I’d be willing to part with, for the right offer.nd very comfortable for 5 adults, or more, but then it gets a little tight, or someone might be sitting on the deck.
