Overview: Up for sale is this really tremendous impressionist harborscape oil painting on canvas. This painting depicts a sailboat moored at a dock (perhaps on a lake) with mountains rising behind. The painting is signed "Mazza" at lower right. It is really well-executed (despite the condition issues). Based on style and age of the canvas, I'd date this to around 1960. Painting is stretched, but unframed. Condition: Painting is in fair condition. It shows some moderate canvas dimpling, as well as moderate canvas creasing from stretcher bars. Numerous instances of scuffs and paint loss throughout, ranging from minor to moderate. A couple spots of canvas fraying as well. The price reflects the condition.
