2015 Hyundai Sonata

This car is ready to roll. I’ve had it for several months and health issues compel me to sell it. The car is in excellent condition and runs and drives like a new car. It could pass for one if you didn’t know what year it is. While the body has rolled only 56k miles, the engine is a factory replacement under warranty. It was replaced in 2020 according to the vin and info I got at the Hyundai toll free number. These motors were prone to problems and Hyundai was sued over it. To settle the suit, if you happened to have an engine that was a bad one, Hyundai replaced it with a brand new engine, so this motor obviously has way less that 56k on it. It runs like it should…a totally newer engine. The replacement engines had the bugs worked out, which was metal shavings clogging oil passages, due to manufacturing error.Sadly the car was in a fender bender and got a new bumper and headlights, also acquiring a salvage title. The injury was minimal …the air bags were not deployed. Exceptional condition car. Why the insurance carrier branded it salvage is a mystery to me. I can’t find any damage.
