This guitar was made in the year 2000 in the old Gibson Kalamazoo Michigan plant as stated on the back of the neck. This guitar is very special as it incorporates all the best things made made into Gibson.LES Paul, the body is one solid piece of mahogany. IT'S BUILT ON THE SAME MACHINES THAT GIBSON USED IN THE SAME PLANT THE SAME TEMPLATES BUY SOME OF THE SAME PEOPLE YOU won't find that in any new Gibsons. The electronic pickups were built by none other Ren wall started at Gibson in 1962 and now is part owner in the Heritage guitar company. You cannot buy this guitar. I have emails from rendall stating that there were probably only 50 made of these gold tops and less than that have the custom-made pickups by him (HRW) IT ALSO HAS THE ORIGINAL CASE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION THE GUITAR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION I HAVE PLAYED SINCE 1968 AND JUST DON'T PLAY AS MUCH ANYMORE.
