Helping out a friend. If interested please contact: Jay Bartlett (contact info removed) Pick up only Own a beautiful piece of sewing history with this 1927 Singer 15-91 sewing machine, serial number AB895402, housed in its original mid-century wood cabinet with classic tapered legs and brass-capped feet. This model is well known for its direct-drive “potted” motor, one of Singer’s most reliable and powerful designs from the early 20th century. Details: • Model: Singer 15-91 • Date of Manufacture: 1927 • Motor Type: Direct gear-drive (no belt) • Serial Number: AB895402 • Original Cabinet: Mid-century fold-down wood case with drawer and knee lever mount • Finish: Classic black crinkle enamel with ornate gold decals Condition: • Untested: I have not plugged it in or tested the motor. I’m posting for a friend of mine and they don’t know if it works or not. Being sold as-is—it may work with cleaning or servicing, or may be best used for parts or restoration. • Cosmetics: Good vintage condition with signs of age and use (see photos). Some wear to the cabinet surface and decals, consistent with its age. • Cords: Power cord and plug are included but untested; may need updating for modern safety standards. Perfect for collectors, sewing machine enthusiasts, or vintage decor lovers. Whether restored or repurposed, this piece adds charm and history to any space.
