B&G Bing & Grondahl Copenhagen Porcelain Figurine 2249 Girl and Cat In Basket Excellent like new condition. Lovely Danish Bing and Grondahl (B&G) porcelain figurine number 2249 of little girl petting a cat. Made in Denmark around 1960s. Such a cute collectible porcelain figurine. #2249 Bing & Grondahl porcelain figurine of a little girl with cat was designed by Claire Weiss. The technique used for the figurine is underglaze technique. Figurine is in excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Height of the figurine is approx. 9,5 cm (3.7 inches). Bing & Grøndahl was a Danish porcelain manufacturer founded in 1853 by the sculptor Frederik Wilhelm Grøndahl and merchant brothers Meyer Hermann Bing and Jacob Herman Bing. The trademark back stamp for Bing & Grøndahl porcelains is the three towers derived from the Coat of Arms of Copenhagen.
