Description

Overview: Up for sale is an incredible original expressionist oil painting on stretched canvas by listed German artist, Heinz Munnich (1(contact info removed)). Munnich is very well-known for his striking cityscapes, as well as landscape works. This is a bit of a different genre for Munnich, depicting a dancer in a concert hall. Incredibly well-executed piece, with exquisite detail. Signed at lower right. Stretched, but unframed. It is undated, but likely dates to the 1960. Munnich is extremely well-listed with auction records typically ranging in the multiple thousands of dollars. Condition: Painting is in excellent condition. Evidence of slight water damage on back. Measurements: Painting measures 30 inches wide x 24 inches high.
