Bohlender Graebener The Radia Series MODEL 420 Ribbon Tower Speakers Planar-Hybrid Speaker System 4 Ohm 50watt -250watt Power Rating. Size are 57" tall by 8" width by 16" depth bottom base and around 2.5"-3" brushed aluminum cabinet width. These sold for $3800 until recently, when one the original owners (David Graebener) passed away in early 2015 and the company dissolved. So these are likely to become harder to come by, and more collectable. These contain the true 40” ribbons, not the newer NEO drivers. So you get the benefits of a true ribbon speaker. They have dual binding post so you can bi-amp or bi-wire if you like. (note: one of the gold terminal post bridges is missing "not hard to find a replacement") The ribbon crosses over to (2) 6.5” (sealed) woofers to fill in the bottom end. They have amazing clarity/detail, and throw a tremendous soundstage. They are very efficient @ 91 dB/watt so came be driven easily. They are rated at 4 ohms so make sure you have an amp that is okay for the load. They will sound their best with a quality amplifier. Many folks prefer these to Maggies or Magnapan. This pair is in great shape. They are stylish (brushed aluminum, and black spackled paint like powder coated bases) and do not take up much floor space. Priced to sell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
