Description
1963 Ford Falcon Squire Station Wagon 1963 Ford Falcon Squire 4-Door Station Wagon Project $7,500 Genuine 1963 Ford Falcon Squire station wagon project with a large amount of original trim, glass, interior pieces, and restoration parts included. VIN/build documentation appears to identify the car as 3T26U111874, consistent with a 1963 Falcon Squire. The car is powered by a Ford inline-six with automatic transmission. This was previously a running and driving car before being taken apart for an interior/restoration project that was never completed. It has been stored indoors, and the removed parts have been retained, organized, and photographed. What is included Falcon Squire station wagon body Inline-six engine and automatic transmission Extensive original exterior trim and moldings Grille, headlight bezels, emblems, handles, mirrors, and brightwork Side glass and vent-window assemblies Interior door and quarter panels Red interior components Replacement red carpet already installed Window and door hardware Weatherstripping and channel pieces Seat belts Various suspension and mechanical parts Additional replacement/service parts New tires Ford chrome hubcaps Original vehicle identification/data plate Surviving factory/build documentation Numerous additional parts shown in the photos The power rear tailgate window has been tested and works. Mechanical condition The engine was running consistently approximately one year ago, and video of it running is available. The car currently has no installed battery and has old fuel in the tank. With an external battery/jump source and starting fluid, the engine will fire and briefly run. The fuel system should be cleaned and serviced before attempting regular operation. The front brakes operate. The rear brakes are currently disconnected and will need to be repaired before the car is roadworthy. Because of the brakes and fuel-system condition, the car should be transported by trailer or flatbed. Body and restoration condition This is a project car, not a finished restoration. The body has been repainted white approximately 20 years ago. The paint is project quality and there are areas of rust, previous repair work, filler, surface corrosion, and unfinished work. Some interior areas were painted red during the prior restoration attempt. The Squire faux-wood exterior treatment is currently not installed and not included. The windows and several interior pieces were removed during the restoration, but a large amount of the removed glass, trim, panels, and hardware is still with the car and has been photographed and cataloged. The car presents well from a distance and appears substantially complete, but it will need continued mechanical, body, brake, interior, and cosmetic work before returning to regular road use. Why this one is worth looking at The difficult part of buying a partially disassembled old wagon is often finding all of the model-specific pieces afterward. This car comes with an unusually large collection of its original glass, trim, interior panels, hardware, and other components. It is a legitimate Falcon Squire wagon rather than a standard Falcon wagon being represented as one, and the surviving documentation and parts inventory will go with the car. I have many additional photographs showing the car, engine, rust areas, loose parts, glass, trim, wheels, interior pieces, and restoration progress. Asking $7,500. Serious buyers are welcome to inspect the car and the included parts in person. Reasonable offers will be considered from buyers prepared to complete the purchase promptly. Located in Westminster, CA. Buyer is responsible for transport. Trailer or flatbed recommended.
