Description
From my Grandfather's toolbox, this is a set of (2) Beautiful Antique Open-End Wrenches made by J.H. Williams & Co. (a forerunner of Snap-On Tools) in the early 20th Century. The smaller wrench is stamped "27" on the jaw. It is marked 3/8" and 5/16". The stamped logo is an older pre-1919 version. The larger wrench is stamped "29" on the handle. The logo stamped on it is the "ribbon" version, first used in 1924. The sizes are marked with "USS", which was not used after 1927. This wrench is from 1(contact info removed). Both are in Good to Excellent vintage condition. Some stains from grease/oil. There is a bit of wear, but it is extremely slight on both pieces. There are (3) small round marks (made with a small punch tool) to either side and below the logo on the smaller wrench. These are quite finely crafted tools, lightweight & easy to handle. These pieces display magnificent craftsmanship, & both are prizes for the collector! Local (Cincinnati-area) Pickup only.
