The grate that is supposed to be slotted in the inside of the litter box would never stay put, so I threw it away and so it doesn’t work as a robot litter box. It can still function if you can find a replacement grate so it can sift through the unused litter and dump the waste in the box, otherwise you would use it as a regular litter box where you manually change it out. You will have to download the Tuya app to connect it to your WiFi if you can use it as a robot litter box. I would also caution users if you were to use it electronically to supervise it when runs because if your cat doesn’t move while it’s rotating, it might clamp down on your cat.
