I bought this vacuum because I was intrigued by the Optic light. I do think that is a cool feature, however I clean homes for a living and I have always been a fan of Shark Vacuums. I probably tried it out less than a handful of times. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this Dyson. Also the plus is there is a button that powers it on and you do not have to hold down a trigger the entire time you vacuum.
