Description

I have for sale a 2006 R53 Mini Cooper S with approximately 199k miles. Engine has 780 miles since the complete over haul. IT IS AN AUTOMATIC. Refreshed head with all new valve seals and fresh valves. Headgasket, timing chain and guides, TC tensioner, tensioner pulley, crank pulley, water pump and thermostat, and accessory belt were all replaced during the headgasket job. All new seals including the infamous front seal were replaced. Coolant as well as intake hose has been replaced with silicone hoses. The coolant reservoir has also been replaced with an aluminum version as the plastic version end up cracking over time. Supercharger has been refreshed and oil changed. The car is known to have broken plastic lines and those were replaced as well which includes the evap lines and the vacuum lines connected to the intake. The evap box which is located in the rear of the car has also been replaced. The AC compressor was also replaced. The car developed hard shifts during my ownership and in order to remedy this, we had to replaced the valve body and shift solenoids in the transmission. The transmission now shifts very smoothly. This is a known issue with this generation mini cooper. New brake pads and rotors in the front with new brake pads in the rear. The body and paint of the car are in okay condition based on its age. The hood being the worst component. The previous owner may have had something fly into the car and hit the passenger headlight/hood, leaving a cracked headlight. I have a replacement headlight in hand and will be replacing it for the new owner. The interior is also really nice with the only issue being the side seams have the threads split apart. The seat material itself is still intact with no holes or tears. Just the seams are coming apart. The driver seat also does not sit low. It has adjustments to go up and down but it is currently stuck all the way up. Im 6' 280 lbs and can still sit and drive in the car. Registration is on non op as the car has been sitting after the rebuild. I drove the car to break it in and after 700 miles just let it sit. No check engine no codes no issues. Car fires right up. Car pulls just like it did when it was new. Only thing ibsuggest getting soon would be tires. Tires still have tread but warrant replacing them within 4k miles. Test drives are welcomed but must have cash on hand. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
