G&L MJ5 CLF-USA Jazz Bass Guitar

I never thought I'd get rid of this bass but my hands have always fought to get along with the neck. (It's a bit chunky) I got this bass a couple years ago on TB from another great member here. It is in fantastic shape besides one tiny knick on the back that happened during setup. It's so small I couldn't even get to picture it hardly. Bass is LIGHT for a 5 string g&l. I've had way heavier 4 strings with the same specs! This mj5 is one of a kind , g&l told me they only made 5 mj5s in 2015, two were blue, and this one has an upgraded john east deluxe preamp. Swamp ash body, quartersawn maple neck and fretboard, matching headstock. This bass is a tone monster. I absolutely love it. But my hands aren't. I have some other g&ls I still get along with. So unfortunately I'm offering this to a good loving home. It has new ernie ball slinkys in standard gauge. It sets up wonderfully and the neck is very tough/stable, low action. I think this bass is jaw droppingly beautiful in person and it will be missed. It sounds as good as it looks. Im not interested in any trades except sandberg vm4/vm5 , ken taylor or booster models, or spector. Tube bass amps. I'm not in a position to offer cash so please don't offer if your not comfortable to do a straight trade or cash my way. I'm asking 1600 in OHSC. Slight scuffing from being stored in rack with other cases. I don't have the spec sheet, but if I find it I will mail it to new owner. I have a nice blue brother m2000 to this bass that make a great sounding pair and look great together, if interested in a bundle offer its in another listing
