Description

If it is listed, it is available. Priority given to first pick up. Non-smoking home. Dimensions 9.75” x 22” By Kunsthandel 66 Wood frame This is a beautiful cross-stitch artwork of the Onze Lieve Vrouwetoren (Tower of Our Lady) in Amersfoort, Netherlands. The tower, nicknamed "Lange Jan" ("Long John"), is a prominent landmark in the city. It stands at 98.33 meters (322 ft 7 in) tall, making it the third highest church tower in the Netherlands. The tower was completed around 1470, and at its base, a plaque marks the original center point of the Netherlands. While the tower is the most striking feature of Amersfoort, other notable sites include the medieval Koppelpoort gate and the historic Sint-Joriskerk (St. George's Church). The Sint-Joriskerk is the oldest monument in Amersfoort, originally built as a court chapel in the 11th century.
