Description
I’ve owned this 2009 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab(Clean Title), 2.7L, 4 cyl, Automatic, 2 wheel drive for about 5 years, and it’s been a reliable and versatile daily driver. I’ve kept up with all the maintenance, including oil changes every 5,000 miles using synthetic oil, and made a lot of thoughtful upgrades to improve its performance, comfort, and practicality. One of the first things I did was tint the windows with a high-quality ceramic tint. It keeps the cab cool in the summer, especially with the Tacoma’s super cold A/C. I upgraded the wheels to 16” Method NV Matte Black rims and added wider BFG All-Terrain tires to eliminate the sway I noticed on the freeway with the stock “pizza cutter” tires. To improve the ride height and help the rear handle the weight of tools or the camper, I installed a 2.75” Ready Lift leveling kit, which gave the truck a more balanced stance. Over the years, I’ve done several key maintenance tasks, including a transmission flush at 108K and a thermostat and radiator fluid replacement at 136K. I also had paintless dent removal done all around the truck, which removed a few imperfections from the previous owner and brought the body back to excellent condition. I blacked out the camper windows to add privacy and help prevent theft of tools or instruments. This truck includes some great upgrades like the SnugTop Rebel Camper Shell with upgraded windoors, fold-down window, LED lights, and coat rack. The suspension has been improved with Bilstein 4600 front shocks, 5100 rear shocks, and an Add-a-Leaf in the rear for better handling and support. Performance enhancements like a K&N Air Filter and drilled/slotted brake rotors also add to the value. Other improvements include OEM rubber all-weather mats, a new Interstate battery (July 2024), and new tie-rod ends. This Tacoma has been my dependable partner for years, whether on daily commutes, freeway drives, or hauling gear. It’s ready for its next owner to enjoy the same reliability and all the upgrades that make it an even better truck.
