Well, it’s time to sell my forever truck. Life is demanding that I get something a little bigger. I have religiously changed the oil every 3,000 miles on the dot in this thing. There are some small cosmetic issues that I’ve noted in the photos, namely a small crack in the hood covered by black duct tape, failing clear coat on the roof, and the driver side window tint pealing off. Other than that this truck is mechanically solid. I’ve replaced CV axles, lower control arms, upper control arms, drive shaft u joints, and done the 4x4 service (front diff, trans, rear diff fluid, etc). Basically a full front end rebuild plus routine maintenance. If you know anything about 2nd gen Tacoma’s you know they’ll go to 300,000 miles easily if maintained. This truck still has tons of life left in her.
