Burl Ball

This is a burl ball,it is pine it weighs approximately 15 lbs, Burl balls are hard to come by and I do not cut from trees that are live I look for something that has already fallen,it has been dried for a year and a half and ready to be worked with,I do not guarantee the interior of something like this but based on the weight it seems to be very solid and like I said they are relatively rare to come by,great for a woodworker that wants to make something really unique,look at my other posts for different types of wood for walking sticks.P.S THIS BALL COULD SIMPLY BE SANDED AND CLEANED ON THE OUTSIDE USE A DREMEL TOOL FOR THE SMALLER SPACES CUT A FLAT SPOT SO IT SITS ON A TABLE AND POLYURETHANE IT AND IT WOULD BE AN EXCEPTIONAL CENTERPIECE ON ANY TABLE just one idea for it's use.
