For sale is a custom built 16 ft wood hybrid motorized drift boat from a kit supplied by West Satsop Boatworks (https://offerup.com/redirect/?o=d3d3Lndlc3RzYXRzb3AuY29t) in Montesano. This boat was computer designed and features CNC milled Okoume marine-grade 3/8" plywood. All joints are stitch-and-glued with epoxy, and the entire outer hull is cloth covered with epoxy, and then painted. The handrails are CNC machined from Port Orford Cedar and laminated with an ultra-dense wood for strength. This boat is a combination hybrid drift design, but with a subtle V-hull to allow easier handling with the 8 HP Honda outboard motor included, and with less of a "rocker" to allow less draft in shallow water. The boat was built in 2009 and is in excellent condition. Don't be shy about this one in rough water or on the rocks, it's built tough and is extremely safe. She was displayed at the Wooden Boat Show in Port Townsend in 2009 and 2010, and has been featured in advertising in Wooden Boats Magazine. Own a one-of-a-kind, with many years service remaining. Some scratches and probably needs interior re-painted. She has also been on saltwater, so there is some rust on the galvanized trailer.
