This is a Hasbro older version Lite Brite design screen and still works great and lights up, and has colorful pegs and about 16 templates. Takes 3 D batteries not included. You child or grandchild etc can make beautiful designs either free form or with the about 16 templetes. It came with 8 template patterns but we got 8 more. The little letters on the template indicate the color peg to push in that spot to make the design shown on template, or just be creative with your own design. When finished, press the button to make it glow! Nice type roller storage section on front keeps all the colorful peg stored. Plus a handle area where you can pick it up and show it off.
