Unprofessional & Dishonest Dealership - Beware of Faulty Cars

I wish I could give CarXchange zero stars. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. A 2017 Nissan Sentra was financed on August 27, 2024, and just two days later, warning alerts started appearing on the dashboard. After driving for 30 minutes to an hour, the

message would pop up. This is a serious issue, especially with a vehicle that was just purchased!

When I returned to the dealership on Sunday to express my concerns, the manager Bill greeted me with sarcasm and completely dismissed the issue. I asked for the vehicle with a faulty emergency brake system to be repaired at no cost since it hasn’t even been a month and the first payment isn’t due yet. Instead, Bill’s dismissive attitude made it clear they had no intention of helping. He told me I was “lucky” that a $1,500 warranty was financed with the car, suggesting I take it to service and pay the deductible for repairs myself.

“Lucky”? It’s not luck when you're stuck with a faulty car from the beginning! I made it clear that I had no intention of paying for repairs so soon after purchase—2 days, to be exact. Bill even had the audacity to suggest that if I didn’t like the car, since the loan had already been paid for it in full, I could skip the first payment and let it be repossessed, but he refused to offer a trade-in or assist in resolving the problem. His “solution” was to use the warranty I was pressured to buy and pay the deductible myself. This isn’t the kind of response you expect from a dealership that claims to sell reliable vehicles.

Currently, I’m working with the service department very kind team, but they had no knowledge of my previous conversation with Bill. Despite his promises to forward the details and schedule a service appointment with a rental car, I’ve received no response from him. I’m also currently on hold with CarXchange to request assistance from Bill, going on over an hour—CarXchange takes no accountability for the issues they’ve caused and are refusing to take my calls.

This dealership does not stand behind the cars they sell. They are quick to take your money but vanish when real problems arise. Bill, the manager I spoke with face-to-face, is now ghosting us. It hasn’t even been a month since purchasing this car, and we’re already looking at maintenance costs and repairs, even before making the first car payment!

If you're thinking about buying a car from CarXchange in Victorville, I strongly urge you to reconsider. They don’t care about their customers after the sale is finalized and won’t take responsibility for selling faulty vehicles. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else!

Important note: Be prepared for the car to break down almost immediately after driving it off the lot. You’ll be responsible for monthly car payments, maintenance, and repairs from the start.

I was here for 3 hours. Victor and Julio went above and beyond helping my indecisive a**. I was scared and kept going back on deals but they didn’t care. they worked with me and helped me with everything that I was scared of! They truly made me feel confident in what I was buying and I did end up buying my dream car🥳
