IRISH DRESDEN PORCELAIN LACE BLACK PRINCE SWAN IRELAND GOLD TRIM RARE

An Amazing,,,,Irish Dresden figure Black Prince! Swan made of Dresden lace that has been installed to form a dense pelt. It has been hand painted with some gold highlights! Very beautiful and delicate! The Irish Dresden company was established in 1962 in Ireland. The company’s Swan history began as Muller & Company in 1907 in Volkstedt, Thuringia, in Prussia. The factory was destroyed in World War II. Old molds were salvaged from the cellars beneath the ruins. The family was forced to relocate after the war and rebuilt in Dromcolliher, County Limerick. Descendants of the Muller family retained control. The Swan measures 3 inches tall and 5 inches long. Very good used condition. No crakes, crazing or repairs, some minor gold paint missing on tiny petal, that I have observed on crown, which is hard to show in pictures because it’s really miner.
