Early 80’s Japanese Black Lacquer Hutch Hand Enameled And Semi Precious Stone Inlayed With Teal Gem Stones For The Animals Eyes

Vintage Japanese Black Lacquered hutch 3 shelves, 6 drawers3 under cabinet storage spaces, hand enamel painted with cherry blossoms, butterflies, birds. Across the top and bottom based board and drawers are hand cut semi precious stone stone belayed to make beautiful motifs and each door has a huge scene from nature with animals all made from hand cut and carved semi precious stone to make each scene , this was high end for its time the animals have faceted gems for eyes sapphire and rubies the last two pics show the ruby eye fluorescing under uv light. This most definitely is a statement piece!!! And the only one I’ve ever scene with stone work and gemstones, I’ve seen plenty of black lacquer mother of pearl hutches but nothing of this caliber
