Description
C 18th century. Joinery is wooden. Uneven contours demonstrate that it is handmade. Wood shrinkage across diameter is .5 inch. Well turned legs. Has visible cosmetic character. Well supported. I have broken piece to base, haven't glued yet. Maybe from 17th century since it has wood pegs instead of nails, if it is, then I may have underpriced it. I doubt it's a Victorian reproduction, which was common for this style.
