Audiophile Vintage Altec 878B Santiago IMO VERY underrated Altec speakers. Santiago was more expensive than popular Valencia. Great sound with incredible sound stage. I had Altec 19 next to Santiago. Santiago’s 411 woofers produce lower bass frequencies than 416 woofers in Model 19. It makes more suitable for rock listeners. Everything works GREAT including attenuators. Right speaker fiberglass has been removed and saved in a plastic bag. Left speaker still has the fiberglass around 811 horn. I was going to replace them with jute as a professional sound engineer suggested but I got Model 19 to play with. For 40+ year old units, they are in immaculate condition. There are some minor dings or scratches but overall condition is great. Low ballers will be politely ignored.
