Astra Mega II CS Commercial 2 Group Espresso Machine - Refurbished!

Terrific USA built Astra Mega II CS commercial 2 group espresso machine in very good working and cosmetic condition. Please read post in its entirety. Every part was removed from this machine and to start, the chassis was sandblasted and powder coated in pebbled black matte to like new condition. From there ALL water contact parts were descaled, cleaned and rebuilt with new seals, o-rings, etc. including of course the boiler. The machine had a bad pressurestat and high limit switch which were replaced, new group head gaskets installed along with new drain hoses.The previous owner had removed the original feet so I replaced them with heavy duty locking casters, which work great and make moving the machine to access panels very convenient. Machine features two groups, hot water tap, one steam wand and is semi-automatic which means you control extraction duration simply with group switch on/off. Total footprint of the machine is 21.5" H x 19.5" W x 22.5" D. Very reliable and simple machine which has quality components such as Procon vane pump, nickel plated copper boiler and has modular panels which come off easily for access to internals. Warming tray on top which has indirect heat from boiler. The only item that was not addressed was the green/orange panel lights which have either burned out or dimmed dramatically. The switch lights work fine so it is easy to determine when machine is switched on and of course one look at the gauge and you know that heating cycle has completed and ready to brew/steam so the lights aren’t really necessary but can easily be replaced by ordering new ones from Astra. Machine comes with two portafilters (one single and one double) as well as a blind for cleaning and water supply hose. This machine requires a 220v/20a electrical connection and a drain.
