2006 Volkswagen Jetta

UPDATE : please read... This a a solid strong engine car... all solid... Great for an every day commuter. This car needs to be driven... it is a work horse. Now the bad... Some unknown power draw. reason it should be driven and not parked weeks at a time.. transmission great but... If you put in reverse right away it will fail shifting, so you have to turn car off then back on... Remedy is to always put in drive first when starting out your journey, then it won’t geek. No heater because we routed around heater core. Aluminum pipes to core are damaged at the spout. New heater core is in the car. Radio won’t receive AM/FM because it needs an adapter that was never installed but I have it does have CarPlay and Android Auto so you can listen to music... Engine Light is on because a valve in emissions system needs replacement. Not expensive and easy for a backyard mechanic. I’m too lazy to do it. Headliner falling down in back seat area. I like to say it is perfect for the home mechanic car could use some tinkering on but if you need to do a long road trip the same day you buy it will go.. Tires good. New battery. Car is not needed in our family, it has been used for an extra long range driver due to great fuel mileage But due to costs of insurance can't hold on to it.
