VERY ornate piece of furniture, the African Senufo Tribe burial bed, a burial bed from Africa- it’s hand carved and out of a wood that no longer legal to harvest, and when someone in the Senufo tribe passed away, they would lay them to rest on this burial bed before burial, for tribe members to come pay their respects and bring offerings. I’m moving and I need to rehome this treasure unfortunately. It’s very unique. There’s a few replicas out there but the real deal is mostly found in museums and or avid collectors of artifacts like this. AMAZING conversation piece. Once and a lifetime find. I have styled this piece to be used at the foot of my bed, with decorative pillows and I have used it as a coffee table! Can be placed anywhere in a room and probably gain all eyes before everything else!
