2002 Subaru Impreza

Just posting to see if anyone is interested. Was planning on doing a STI swap but ended up buying a newer Subaru so this project has been put on hold. This would make a good project for someone looking to build a bug eye Subaru as they are getting harder to find. Push to start ignition Viper alarm and gps tracking Tags good till 10/26 Manual trans Ej25 N/a 169k miles on motor Sti suspension only 1 year old Replaced clutch and light weight flywheel in 2023 Tsuedo headers with exhaust Timing belt water pump and head gaskets done @130k Big brake kit front and back 1 year old Stainless steel brake lines Brand new tires less than 100 miles all around Tinted windows all around New suspension / power steering bushings all around. Has carbon wrap on roof and trunk but can be easily removed Here is a copy and paste of my maintenance notes since having the car : Oil type 5w-30 capacity 4.2 qt Oil filter 15208AA100 (JDM subaru filter) Spark plug NGK bkr6eix-11 change @ 155k Gas capacity 13 gallon oil and filter done 11/8/25 @ 169k Air intake clean 152k Rear diff fluid changed 152k dec 9 ‘22 Fuel filter done at 153k Cabin air filter done at 153k 1/10/23 327 miles on full tank 5/16/25 Front rotor/ brakes 8/10/23 11.75” front rotors with *2002 forester caliper brackets Rear brakes / rotors done at 159k *2004 outback rear caliper brackets 14.1 gal 12/6/24 = 354 miles Battery changed 12/22 AIC valve 6/10/24 replaced oem 11/24 *tsudo headers @ 159k *kyb rear strut top Mount *sti group N front strut top mount * *Whiteline lowering springs *kyb agx front and rear struts *Aem air intake system *powerstop front and rear stainless brake lines *HPS upgraded silicone hoses *whiteline rack and pinion poly bushing *short throw shifter Have piping / intercooler/ brackets and set up for front mount intercooler I can include if you plan on wrx/sti swap. Also have sti wing (the trunk has holes for it they are taped over currently ) Cons: the car is primer white so needs a paint job but is more or less prepped to add color and clear. There are some rough fiberglass spots on the sti side skirts that need to be sanded better as well as on front bumper. She needs some love cosmetically but is a great runner Salvaged title from theft recovery Has small oil leak from valve cover assuming that occasionally drips on headers and burns off when coming to stop.
