🏜️ Vintage 1985 Southwestern Desert Lantern / Ceramic Votive — Goldwaters

A wonderfully distinctive vintage Southwestern ceramic desert lantern, featuring a hand-decorated desert landscape with raised cacti, pink blossoms, rock formations, and layered earth-tone strata. With its sculptural relief and cutout window, it has the unmistakable character of 1980s Arizona and New Mexico decorative pottery. One of the most interesting details is the original vintage Goldwaters price tag. Goldwaters was a prominent Arizona department-store chain associated with the Goldwater family and was known for carrying Southwestern-inspired decorative arts and regional crafts. The surviving tag adds an especially appealing piece of retail and regional provenance to this example. The piece is marked © 85 and 301, consistent with a 1985 copyright/design date and a mold or model number. It is also associated with the name “Justina,” believed to refer to the artist/decorator responsible for the Southwestern hand-painted and textured details. 🏜️ Details * Circa: 1985 * Cream-colored ceramic body * Southwestern desert landscape design * Raised 3D cactus relief with pink blooms * Layered earth-tone strata detailing * Cutout window for candlelight * Mold/design number 301 * Marked © 85 * Original Goldwaters vintage price tag * Associated with Justina decoration/artist attribution 📋 Condition Vintage condition with original character and age-appropriate surface wear.
