After calling multiple dealerships, big and small around a 50 miles radius South Bay Mazda offered me the best deal. There was no dealer add ons, Sam the finance manager was very polite and also very transparent and was willing to negotiate on add ons like gap insurance and wear and tear package. Edgar the sales rep was also very helpful, answering my questions and willing to negotiate a fair price. I’ve had other dealership experiences and none compared the professionalism and great costumer service like South Bay Mazda. Overall I would recommend this dealer for anyone who is looking to purchase or lease a Mazda car.

Just bought a new Mazda CX-5. It was a good car-buying experience. I was greeted by Alberto, product specialist and Charlie, sales manager who made me felt comfortable and valued as a customer at Mazda.

I was a bit unsure at some point during the sales experience regarding the vehicle, but Alberto and Charlie took the time to answer my questions to satisfy my needs/concerns. They listened attentively and had very thoughtful answers. It was very clear that they were genuinely interested in finding the right vehicle for me, not just making a sale.

The vehicle was spotless and in perfect condition, and really appreciated the detailed walk around before purchasing. Charlie and Alberto were knowledgeable about all the car features and explained thoroughly.

When it came to discussing pricing and financing options, there was no pressure. The dealership offered competitive pricing, and the finance team explained everything clearly. They worked with me to find a plan that suited my budget, and I felt confident in my deal when leaving the dealership.

Buyers beware!  The bait and switch is alive and well at this dealership!

I had been watching a used truck on their lot for weeks, just one specific model.  Initially I made an offer and Miguel Fajardo politely indicated they could not accept my offer.
A week later I saw the price drop so I submitted the same offer again for the same truck.  They accepted my offer, they confirmed the offer was all inclusive an out the door price.  I confirmed I'm a buyer and will come up the next day to purchase the vehicle.
Upon arrival I confirmed the price AGAIN and test drove the truck.  After test driving the truck I confirmed I wanted to purchase and was presented with a WRITTEN OFFER to purchase at the agreed upon price.
I decided to finance the car and was presented with another WRITTEN OFFER which detailed the amount placed down on the truck, the amount to be financed along with the finance rate and monthly rate.
I was then approached again with a WRITTEN OFFER to purchase the vehicle with a Vehicle Service Contract which i declined.

So before I go further, that's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 offers for the same truck, at the same price over less than a 24 hour period.

Arthur Lee then came over and said did you want the silver truck, I said NO! I've always and have been inquiring about the White truck from day 1.
The white truck is a 2024 and is different from the other truck, the 2024 was an updated version.  He was shocked and dismayed.
It was then that he said no you want the silver truck and accused me of inquiring about both which perplexed me, I said i have all my emails since I first inquired about the truck.
That's when he said we can't sell you that truck at the agreed upon price.  I was like what, I have all the emails, you took me on a test drive.  You confirmed the price 5 times.  He walked away.

Then Charlie Pham showed up with a paper in his hand and said we can't sell you the truck at the agreed upon price, there has been a mistake.

How does a dealer make a mistake 5 separate times!
How do they not offer to negotiate in good faith, now asking me to pay 5K more is not good faith.

After sending several emails to their General Manager Jeff Donnell, one which said DO NOT SELL this truck, all my efforts to purchase this truck went unresponded to and here we are, they sold the truck without a call back.
How does a dealership make the same error 5 times!
