Description

Early 20th century, Jean Pouyat Limoges, octagonal shaped luncheon plates with heavy gold accented rim and shoulder panels. 9-3/4" diameter made in France circa 1910. Signed J.P./L France as well as J Pouyat Limoges in a "Green Wreath" retailed in Boston at I. Mc. D&S. Co. A stunningly romantic Limoges Plate made in the Edwardian era. Soft pink roses with blue "forget me nots" and silvery green foliage with heavy gold along the paneled octagonal rims. Very beautiful design and in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. No utensil marks. I dare say... this piece is in near pristine condition with only the slightest rubbing to the gold or wear on the pattern.
